Q: What is Hoʻopili?
A: Hoʻopili is a proposed development in Ewa, Hawaiʻi of nearly 12,000 new homes and businesses that, if built, would permanently destroy some of the best, most productive farmland in the State of Hawaiʻi perhaps anywhere! It would also bring traffic on H-1 to a standstill, increase greenhouse gas emissions, and result in a net loss of jobs!
Q: Is it too late to stop it?
A: No. The developer must get the State of Hawaiʻi - Land Use Commission to change the zoning of the property from agricultural to urban before anything can be built. We still have time to stop Hoʻopili!
Q: What can I do?
A: Help us spread the word. Click through the pages of this website and learn the truth about this proposed development. Join one of our teams. And when the time comes, help us convince the Land Use Commission that keeping this most-valuable farmland zoned as agricultural is the best plan for Hawaiʻi!
